Stadium: Rice-Eccles Stadium

Formed in 2005, Real Salt Lake have yet to win any honours, but the acquisition of teenage US star Freddy Adu for the 2007 season, signalled their intent. Real also signed a co-operative deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid, which will, amongst other things, help create a soccer-training academy in Salt Lake City.
